Now to start the long task of writing down when where and what talks I will be attending… It would be kind of cool to see what the most popular talks are gonna be.

    The Geek Comedy Tour 3000
How to Talk to the Mainstream Media
    Weird Technology
Bin Laden, National Intelligence, and How NOT To Spend the Taxpayer’s Treasure
    Coupon Hacking
    Hackers in Prison
    Off The Hook
Hack the Palate! How to Set Up a Kitchen Hack Lab
Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Spying and Intelligence
Urban Exploring: Hacking the Physical World
    Social Engineering
Ghosts (and Zombies) in the Machine

That is my list, thankfully they all seem to happen at different times!

Cohen - I don’t see my talk in your list ;-)

I’m anxious to see what’ll be on the third track…

So what are the chances Loyd Blankenship will show up for a read of the hacker manifesto? :p

  • 7. Cohen  |  July 5th, 2006 at 3:08 am

morcheeba - What talk is it you are giving?

  • 8. ladyada  |  July 7th, 2006 at 1:01 am

morcheeba, -im- definately going to your talk…

  • 9. morcheeba  |  July 7th, 2006 at 1:04 pm

My talk is “Low Level Firmware Analysis and Hacking” - Saturday @ 10 am. I’ll show the nitty-gritty details that were involved in hacking the disposable digital cameras to make them reusable. After extracting the firmware and analyzing it, we’ll find a security flaw and take advantage of it.

This will be my first Hope — so far, it looks well worth it just for the speakers — I can’t wait to see all the other stuff!

ladayada - same here - I’m looking forward to yours and Phillip’s talk

i just learned about this on boing boig…
so i just have a small question that i hope someone here will answer: will any of these talks be put online (webcast, mp3, powerpoint, etc) ?

The talks will be streamed live (onsite and to the outside world) and also be for sale on DVD sometime after the show ends. Also, outside media is free to record and broadcast the presentations.

could you give a url of where it will be streamed live?
    really appreciate it.

oh that answeres my questionies. im in “kalifaztlan” and since Emmanuel has made clear his disdain for the left coast, will not be spending an arm+leg to visit NY. But Jelo is a fine fellow.

Any idea when the audio will be posted from the weekend? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
